Maidstone town centre is buzzing with Scouts

Maidstone town centre has been taken over by hundreds of Scouts, Cubs and Guides - and a kilted pipe band.

It’s all part of the anual St George’s Day parade through the town.

The assembly point this year has been changed to Jubilee Square instead of Earl Street, because of roadworks along Week Street. The best point for spectators is in the High Street near the Town Hall.
