Has snow scuppered your World Book Day plans?

It's one of the most popular dates in school calendars, but continuous snowfall could ruin World Book Day.

Parents working hard on costumes for the annual literature celebration may have seen their efforts scuppered, as the Beast from the East's snow closed dozens of schools today.

While some schools have fought to open their doors, more than 240 remain closed, with a full list of closures available here.
