Helicopter search for suspect who left the scene of 'domestic incident' in Maidstone

The police helicopter was called out to Maidstone last night to search for a missing suspect.

A crew was dispatched to assist officers on the ground, including a dog unit, after a person made off from patrols.  

Officers were called to an address in West Park Road just before 3.20pm, to reports of a domestic incident. 

A team attended the scene and discovered a man had left the scene. 

The helicopter was called to help at 9.25pm. People reported seeing the chopper above Mote Park at about 10pm. 

The man was not located. 

A force spokesman said inquires are ongoing.
