Maidstone: Horses and carts descend on High Street

More than 30 horse and carts descended on a town centre this afternoon.

The vehicles arrived in High Street, Maidstone, shortly after 2pm, with some of the riders popping into local The Brenchley and The Muggleton Inn for a drink.

The horses were tethered to lamp posts in the town before starting to leave around 3pm.
