Gold Olympic Champion Lizzy Yarnold will be at Kent Choices4U careers fair in Detling Showground

Olympic champion Lizzy Yarnold will be at Detling Showground this month promoting a youth career fair.

The 25-year-old, a former pupil of Maidstone Grammar School for Girls, will appear between 10.30am and midday at the Kent Choices4U fair on Friday, March 28.

Over 100 stalls will be set up by potential employers and places offering education after school.

Workshops and interactive displays will also take place.

The fair itself will also run on Thursday, March 28 and will be open from 10am to 3pm on both days.

It is supported by the KM Group, Kent County Council, the European Social Fund, the National Careers Fair and the Skills Show.

Entry to the event is free but people are asked to register their attendance by clicking here
