Firefighters tackle Lower Road, East Farleigh loft fire

Firefighters rushed to East Farleigh today, after a blaze started in a loft.

Two crews from Maidstone were called to a house in Lower Road just before 2pm.

The loft was full of smoke and they were forced to cut away at the timbers to put the fire out.

They left the scene at 3.20pm.

The cause is currently unknown.

Noone was in the house at the time.
