Motorists faced delays this morning after a lorry and an SUV crashed on the M20.

The collision blocked the London-bound sliproad from junction 7 for Maidstone and the A249.

A police spokesperson said: "Kent Police was called at 10.15am on Thursday following reports of a collision involving a car and a lorry on the M20 londonbound carriageway between junctions 7 and 8.

"No injuries were reported and both vehicles are now on the hard shoulder."
