A man is fighting life his life after it is believed he was struck by a lorry on an Aylesford industrial estate.

The 50-year-old was left in a critical condition after being injured in St Michael's Close.

Emergency services were called to the scene at just after 5.30pm on Friday.

The man was taken to King's College Hospital, in London, by South East Coast Ambulance.

The medical log said the "accidental injuries" were caused to his abdomen and said the man was "caught, crushed, jammed or pinched in between objects".

His condition was today described as critical but stable.

Police officers attended the scene and notified the Health and Safety Executive. The HSE has confirmed it is investigating the incident.
