The M25 was closed after a lorry overturned, leaving the driver trapped inside.

Firefighters from Kent and Surrey worked together with other emergency services at the scene of the accident on the M25 near Clacket Lane services just after 10pm last night.

Crews assessed the man's injuries with paramedics and are in the process of cutting him out of the vehicle using heavy rescue cutting gear.

The accident caused serious traffic congestions although all lanes had reopened by 11pm.
