A Maidstone McDonald’s had a luxury makeover to celebrate a collaboration with leading fashion designer Julien Macdonald.
The Week Street restaurant, owned and operated by local franchisee Ali El-Hajj, gave lucky local competition winners the chance to attend an exclusive event where they could enjoy the new Signature Collection and also take home their very own Julien Macdonald luxe burger box.
The restaurant on Week Street was transformed into a VIP space complete with black carpets, a golden throne and black-tie waiting staff to celebrate the arrival of the Signature Collection.
Ali El-Hajj said, "To be able to bring the bespoke box made by designer Julien Macdonald to Maidstone, was a delight. I am so pleased that we could invite our customers into the restaurant to experience the luxury launch, and of course, taste the Signature Collection.
"The feedback so far has been phenomenal and I hope everyone that came along enjoyed themselves, and the very limited edition box they took away!”
Julien Macdonald was commissioned to bring his undeniably glamourous aesthetic, to combine fashion and food’s finest.
His creation for The Signature Collection is the embodiment of pure luxury and features embellishment and bespoke digital print, along with the iconic McDonald’s Golden Arches.
The three burgers that make up the Signature Collection have the thickest patty of any McDonald’s burger in the world, and are made with 100% British and Irish beef.
The Classic, The Spicy and The BBQ are all crafted using quality ingredients, freshly prepared from the moment of order and served in stylish black packaging.
