A minute's silence was observed in Maidstone, to remember the victims killed in the beach attack in Tunisia a week ago.

Workers from Maidstone Borough Council lead the tribute, which was to be observed at noon outside the town hall in Jubilee Square.

Memorials will be held across the country, with David Cameron and the Queen also pausing at midday.
