More than 100 acts are confirmed for the Maidstone Fringe Festival.
Organisers revealed all five days from Thursday, May 3, to Monday, May 7, are now fully booked with acts performing at pubs, bars and restaurants.
The festival will transform the town centre and surrounding streets into a musical smorgasbord with each participating venue offering a different taste of the talent from Maidstone and further afield in Kent.
Promoter Zoe Sparkle, who launched the event with colleague Clive Austen last year, said the Fringe Festival should open people’s eyes and ears to the town’s music scene. “The idea was to get the message across about the original music going on in Maidstone,” she said.
The Kent Messenger will carry full festival listings a week before it gets under way. Details are also at ww.maidstonefringefestival.co.uk
