Emergency repairs have been carried out on the M2, which has led to huge delays.
Traffic was stationary for a while on the M2 coast-bound and the road was blocked off.
It has now completely reopened.
The stretch affected was between J5 for the A249 at the Stockbury roundabout and J6 for Faversham.
