Traffic was at a standstill this afternoon on the M20 near Maidstone following a crash involving a motorcyclist.

It happened near the A229 which has resulted in queuing traffic between between J6 and junction 5 (A20).

The M20 coastbound entry slip road was also blocked due to the accident which resulted in an air ambulance being called to the scene.

The M20 has just been re-opened but it is not clear how many people have been injured or how seriously.
