M20 to be shut for one week of resurfacing works

Kent motorists will be forced to find a different route as a motorway is closed for five nights for resurfacing works.

The westbound carriageway of the M20 from junctions 8 (Leeds) to 6 (Blue Bell Hill) will be closed from tonight for five nights between 8pm and 6am.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A28, A251, M2, and A249. Works are scheduled to be completed by late January.
