Maidstone's Aldi reopens with brand new look

Shoppers were able to return to Maidstone's Aldi supermarket today after refurbishment works.

The new-look supermarket has been closed since June 18, but reopened with a new lay-out this morning.

Part of a nationwide revamp, the Well Road store's refurb has created five new jobs, bringing the total number of jobs to 40.

Changes in store include improved chillers and freezers, increased space for fresh meat products and relocation of the beer and wine aisle.

Aldi store manager, Stuart Callaghan, said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.

"We know that the value and quality of our products is unbeatable, and we’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and services they’re used to.

"We’ve got some great Specialbuy deals on throughout our opening week, so we’re set for a busy opening week."
