Haynes Ford dealers in Maidstone unveil new showroom

One of Maidstone's oldest businesses has unveiled a new showroom.

The building has been created as an extension to Haynes' existing Ashford Road complex and will display the latest Ford models.

It also allows the dealership to become a FordStore, a special classification only on offer to those venues who can display and supply the complete range of Ford vehicles, including the Mustang and Focus RS.

The new building has created the room to be able to display this range.

The company approached Leeds-based architects , SDA, who had designed many Ford showrooms, to see if it would be possible to extend, clad and modernise the showroom.

Work took six months and property developer Coombs, from Canterbury, carried out the development work.

Andrew Haynes, chairman and managing director said: "Our customers and staff have been really fantastic whilst the extension was being built for which we sincerely thank them.

"Hopefully the result has been worth it and we look forward to welcoming everyone back into our newly modernised showroom."

Haynes, which was established in 1790, is running special offers for those visiting until Friday, March 31.
