Noisy Parrot treats crowd in Jubilee Square, Maidstone, to lunchtime rap show

Town centre shoppers were in for a treat this afternoon when rapper and performance artist Noisy Parrot put on an impromptu gig.

Lunchtime crowds in Jubilee Square, Maidstone, were entertained by the 28-year-old's unique take on the world.

The musician, real name Treva Who, was dressed in a bright blue onesie and black and blue military boots and was accompanied by dancer and "partner in crime" Trixie De La Rouge.

Nomadic Noisy Parrot, who will release a third album Imagination Games at the end of the summer, will perform at Sunrise Celebration in Wales, before heading to Rest Festival in Wiltshire and Small World.

The former producer said: "I've been to Maidstone once before. I never expect a reaction and just take it as it comes."
