Ambulance crews at Royal Star Arcade in Maidstone

Paramedics have descended on a High Street shopping centre this afternoon (Friday).

One ambulance and a paramedic car were spotted outside the Royal Star Arcade in Maidstone High Street.

A spokesperson from the ambulance service Secamb confirmed a woman had been taken to Maidstone Hospital after she collapsed during a medical episode inside a cafe.

Secamb was also called out to an incident at House of Fraser, however no people were taken to hospital.
