Paws in the Park returns to the Kent Showground in Detling for two days of four-legged fun

There were plenty of wagging tails at the Kent Showground when hundreds of dogs brought their owners for some canine capers.

Paws in the Park returned to the ground in Detling for another year yesterday and continues today (Sunday).

Among the attractions have been demonstrations of sheepdog and duck herding by Richard Curtis, who is a multiple winner of Crufts and one of the UK’s leading freestyle handlers and an expert on heelwork to music.

Owners and their pooches took the ever-popular leap of faith with the K9 Aquazone, and there was a chance to try agility courses.

There were also interactive events and the chance to see gun dogs, terrier racing and Guide Dogs, along with demonstrations of search and rescue, and there were dozens of stalls and trade stands for owners to top up on their doggy accessories.
