A married couple who masterminded a £6m tax fraud have been ordered to pay back more than £800,000, or face more time in jail.

Youri Khomitch 36, and Victoria Chambers, 37, from Kings Hill, were the ringleaders of a six-strong Eastern European gang who swindled the tax payer, spending the proceeds on exotic holidays, luxury houses, jewellery and cosmetic surgery.

The couple, formerly of Hollandbury Park, Kings Hill, were jailed for a total of 11 years in 2010, and were the subject of confiscation proceedings at Croydon Crown Court, on Tuesday, February 19.
