Kent PCC to be given 'words of advice' after runaway car ordeal

Kent’s Police and Crime Commissioner will be given some “words of advice” after his car rolled out of police headquarters and onto an A-road without its handbrake on.

Matthew Scott’s Renault rolled out of Maidstone’s Police headquarters, in Sutton Road, on Tuesday.

Witnesses described seeing the car move in reverse with no driver and swerve out onto the road before coming to a stop on a nearby grass verge.
