Kent Police target drink and drug-drivers this Christmas

Police are warning drink and drug-drivers there will be no let up as they crack down on people getting behind the wheel after taking banned substances or alcohol.

With the festive season underway, officers say drivers may take the risk of getting behind the wheel because of Christmas celebrations but say they are determined to catch those breaking the law.

It comes as figures released last month revealed there were three fatalities on the county's roads as a result of drug-drivers in the last 12 months.
