Kent Police send helicopter to Barming, near Maidstone, after receiving a report of a burglary in Western Road

The police helicopter was called to Barming last night to try and hunt down three potential burglars.

It was deployed after officers visited a home in Western Road shortly before 9.30pm.

Three men were seen acting suspiciously nearby and the helicopter was called to try and find them.

A police helicopter was use to search for the driver of a crashed car.

Despite the search no arrests were made and a police spokesman says enquiries are ongoing.
