Delays are expected near a busy Maidstone roundabout due to emergency roadworks.

Kent County Council has warned the slip road from the Running Horse Roundabout, heading towards the A229 Royal Engineers Road, southbound towards Maidstone, is closed due to emergency works to repair a collapsed manhole cover.

There is also a lane one closure on the A229 Royal Engineers Road heading into Maidstone.

A KCC spokesman said: "Please expect delays. Please follow diversion signs."
