Fire crews battled rubbish mountain blaze on New Hythe Industrial Estate, Aylesford

Firefighters have now left the scene of a blaze involving 100 tonnes of rubbish.

Crews were originally called to the incident at a business on the New Hythe Lane industrial estate, Aylesford, this morning.

At its height, around 20 firefighters were involved. This afternoon they manage to make a fire break to prevent the flames spreading.

The incident was dealt with by 7.30pm and crews have now left the scene.
