Seven suspected illegal immigrants have been found in the back of a lorry in Snodland this morning.

The group was discovered in an HGV on the A228 at just after 3.30am.

Kent Police said they are currently in custody before they are set to be handed over to the UK Border Agency.

It follows the discovery of four suspected illegal immigrants in Maidstone yesterday.

The group was found in the vehicle when it was stopped in Biddenden Road, Headcorn, at just before 8am.
