Sister Sledge will perform at the Family Social, in Mote Park, Maidstone

Disco queens Sister Sledge are the latest act to be confirmed for an all-day festival in the heart of Maidstone.

The famous American group will join Earth Wind and Fire, featuring Al McKay, Brand New Heavies and The Shapeshifters, at The Family Social in Mote Park.

The gig on Sunday, September 29, which is supported by the KM Group and will include a kmfm arena, is the second day of a weekend event organised by Maidstone-born DJ Nic Fanciulli.

On Saturday, September 28, thousands of revellers, aged over 18, will fill the park to see world-renowned names from the dance music scene, perform at The Social.
