Last minute entries are still being sought for the World Custard Pie Championships, which will be held this Saturday.

Teams of four are being called on for the event, to be held at Coxheath, near Maidstone, where the event was launched in the 1960s, from noon.

Dance troops or other local groups who would like to give a demonstration of their skills or run a fund-raising stall in the afternoon are also still welcome to sign up.
