A teenager was arrested on suspicion of drink and drug-driving after a crash in Yalding.

Police were called to Hampstead Lane at 11.30pm yesterday.

The 19-year-old, from Tonbridge, was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs and drink.

Officers from the road policing unit and carried out a drugswipe test.

He has been bailed, pending further inquiries, until Thursday, August 11.
