An accident involving two cars left the main road through Ditton blocked for more than an hour today.

A Ford Fiesta and a Toyota Yaris were both damaged in the incident at just after noon on the London Road, near the junction with Bell Lane.

There was one person in each car, but no-one was injured. The road was partially blocked but cleared by 1.30pm.
