Marlon Manning, Stephen Allen, and Jhabil Freeman charged with Yalding robbery and firearms offences

Three men have been charged with robbery and firearms offences.

Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to Benover Road, Yalding, in the early hours of March 16 where a man in his 30s was treated for serious injuries.

He was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.

Detectives arrested three men and charged them with conspiracy to commit robbery and with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear.

Marlon Manning, aged 42, of The Green, Bearsted, was remanded in custody and will appear before Maidstone Crown Court on August 17.

Meanwhile, 24-year-old Stephan Allen of Rosebury Square, Chigwell, Essex, was also remanded in custody to appear before the same court on August 24.

Jhabil Freeman, aged 41, of Barry Road, East Dulwich, London, was bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on August 24.

Officers also arrested Amy Wallace, 30, of Lancashire Road, Maidstone, on suspicion of assisting an offender.

She was later charged with the offence and bailed to appear before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 24.

Another man, a 22-year-old of no fixed address was arrested in connection with the offence and bailed to return to the police station on August 29.

In addition, a 27-year-old woman from Maidstone was arrested and released pending further investigation.
