Tonbridge manager Tommy Warrilow will be hoping Frannie Collin can continue his bright start to the season at Dover on Saturday.

The former Dover player has scored five of the Angels’ 11 goals this season and Warrilow makes no secret about how highly he rates the 24-year-old striker, who started his career with Gillingham.

Warrilow said: "If Frannie hadn’t got injured last season he may have been contesting the Golden Boot. Technically, he’s one of the best strikers around at this level but it’s all about confidence with Frannie.

"I have told him that at 24, he is still young enough to get back into the Football League."

Collin (pictured) scored both Angels’ goals in their 3-2 Blue Square Bet South defeat at Welling on Tuesday but Warrilow was honest enough to admit that the close scoreline flattered his side.

He said: "Welling were the better team on the night and we went 2-0 up against the run of play. It’s disappointing because we are gifting teams too many goals but we knew the opening six games of the season were going to be tough and I’m not going to go overboard at every loss."

The clash with sixth-placed Dover game is followed by a home game on Monday with Woking. Warrilow will have the option of strengthening his midfield with Scott Kinch and Lewis Taylor both returning to training.
