A Tonbridge man was arrested at the weekend, following an afternoon drugs raid.

Officers patrolling the town at around 12.40pm on Saturday arrested a man after seeing suspicious activity in Nelson Avenue.

Following a search of a property in the road quantities of cannabis, cash and scales were found.

John Hall, 37, of Nelson Avenue, was charged with supplying cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

He has been bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 10.
