Maidstone shoppers head to Fremlin Walk for a british summer festival #FremlinFest

Shoppers in Maidstone were treated to live music and a touch of magic yesterday.

#FremlinFest - run in association with kmfm - brought local bands and performers including Paperfriend and Robbie Firmin to the stage in Fremlin Walk.

West Malling magician Paul Fowler wowed crowds with tricks, including one where he turned receipts into money with kmfm's Andy Walker.

There was a chance for shoppers to take the weight off their feet at a number of 'summer gardens' dotted throughout the centre, complete with beanbags, deckchairs and beach balls.

Children could get their faces painted while mums and dads were able to try out the sweet treats being handed out by Patisserie Valerie.

And a street juggler took the festival to new heights.
