Man and woman arrested after violence at Sevenoaks conference

Police are asking for help to identify men wanted in connection with alleged violent acts at a Sevenoaks conference.

Officers detained a man and woman today and are hunting two more suspects after violence broke out at a property in London Road.

A man who was allegedly assaulted refused medical attention, but the incident and other public order offences believed to have been committed remain under investigation.

Officers travelled to Eastbourne, East Sussex, to arrest a 31-year-old man and Luton, Bedfordshire, to detain a 47-year-old woman, both suspected of violent disorder.

The violence allegedly happened shortly after 1.35pm on April 14.

Detective Chief Inspector Darren Mullins said: "We have demonstrated through our response to other similar acts of violence elsewhere in Kent that we do not tolerate such behaviour and will cross county boundaries to catch those responsible.

"We are currently carrying out a number of lines of enquiry into this particular incident, including a review of all available CCTV footage.
