Tunbridge Wells: Two arrested in drugs crackdown

Two men have been arrested as part of ongoing drug enforcement across Tunbridge Wells.

Search warrants were executed at separate addresses in the town at 8am today where officers seized substances believed to contain class A drugs.

They also seized cannabis and drug-related paraphernalia, from properties in Showfields Road and Cobbett’s Ride.

The men, aged 19 and 22, are both from the Tunbridge Wells area.

Inspector Chris Mayers said: “Our enforcement against drugs offences continues and we repeat the message that if you persist in selling illegal drugs within the Tunbridge Wells area we will arrest you and put you before the courts.

“We rely on information from the community to help tackle these problems and I would encourage anyone with any information to contact us or Kent Crimestoppers.”
