Two people had to be freed by firefighters from their cars after a crash on the Hartley Road, Cranbrook

Two people had to be freed from their cars after an accident near Cranbrook.

The incident, which involved two cars, happened on the Hartley Road.

Fire crews arrived around 12.40pm today.

They had to remove the roof of one car to free a man, who was taken by the air ambulance to hospital.

A woman was also released from her car and needed hospital treatment.
