Two people have been arrested after police carried out a drugs warrant in Maidstone.
The neighbourhood policing team executed the warrant in Bell Meadow, Maidstone, on Friday, seizing around 15 plants and another 30 smaller plants that were in the early stages of cultivation. Cultivating equipment including lighting, ventilation and irrigation equipment was also seized.
A 40 year-old man and a 35 year-old woman, both from Maidstone, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. They were released on police bail until 14 December, pending further investigation.
Inspector Jerry Prodger from Kent Police said: “This warrant follows on from two successful warrants in Maidstone earlier in the month, and is another example of us identifying people we suspect of being involved with controlled drugs and taking action.

"Enforcement such as this will continue and if members of the public have information about drug use or supply I would encourage them to contact us so we can take action.”
