Maidstone: Witness appeal after police car involved in crash

An investigation has been launched after a marked police car collided with three other cars while responding to an emergency call.

The crash involving a grey Chevrolet Captiva, a white Fiat 500 and a black Skoda Octavia happened in Brenchley Road, Tovil, at 9pm yesterday.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene and two police officers and a third person were treated for injuries.

They were then taken to a local hospital for further attention. They have since been released.

Due to the involvement of a police vehicle, officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
