Police investigate after woman allegedly assaulted in Shepway Estate, Maidstone

A woman was allegedly assaulted by one of three men after sharing a cab ride in the early hours of this morning.

The group, along with another woman, were travelling to the Shepway Estate after meeting at a takeaway in Maidstone at around 4am.

As the two women left the cab a row broke out, at which point it is alleged one of the men punched the woman.

Police are investigating the incident, which resulted in the alleged victim suffering a minor injury.
