Paul Booth has returned to Maidstone United as fitness coach

An old favourite was back at Maidstone on Saturday.

Paul Booth, top scorer when United won promotion from Ryman League Division 1 South, has rejoined his hometown club from Ashford, where he was player-coach.

He's back at the Gallagher as fitness coach and will also be helping the forwards.

Stones boss Jay Saunders said: "Boothy's going to help out with the fitness side of things and working with the strikers and stuff.

"He's someone I've known for a long time, it's an area where we've been looking to do something.

"Boothy will add to us - he'll be good to have on board."
