Maidstone United terminate Bradley Hudson-Odoi's loan spell from National League rivals Sutton

Maidstone have ended Bradley Hudson-Odoi’s loan spell from Sutton a week early.

Winger Hudson-Odoi started against Southport and Woking but found himself on the bench for the next three games.

He returned to National League rivals Sutton before the Stones' trip to Bromley on Saturday.

Stones boss Jay Saunders, speaking after United’s 2-0 defeat, said: “Brad's gone back. I spoke to Paul Doswell (Sutton manager) and it's not quite worked out for him.

“It's one where I sent him back, I didn't think we needed him today.

“It's not really worked out which is disappointing because he's someone I've always liked but sometimes that's how it goes.

“I couldn't see him getting back in. After the first couple of games I didn't think he'd done enough to warrant a start.

“He probably needs to be fitter and I couldn't see him getting that game time here.”
