Charley Robertson could finish the season with two promotions.

Robertson is likely to receive one of Maidstone’s 20 Ryman League Premier Division title medals, even though he’s only made two substitute appearances for Jay Saunders’ side.

He’s spent the second half of the season on loan at Faversham and has the Ryman League Division 1 South play-offs to look forward to.

Robertson, 19, said: “Not many players get two promotions in one season.

“I scored for Maidstone on the first day but I’ve only played twice - it’s the other players who’ve done the job.

“I’ve kept an eye on things there and I was happy when they got promoted but I’ve played over 15 games for Faversham and I would feel I’ve made more of a contribution if I can help them go up.

“The original loan was for a month but Jay knew I was enjoying it and said it could be extended so I’d be able to play in the play-offs.

“It’s done me the world of good coming here and playing games.”
