Maidstone United sign Stuart Lewis on loan from Ebbsfleet United

Ebbsfleet midfielder Stuart Lewis has joined Maidstone on loan for the rest of the season.

Lewis, 29, trained at the Gallagher last night and could make his debut when Stones host Torquay in the National League tomorrow.

Lewis, Fleet’s player-of-the-year last season, moved to Stonebridge Road from Wycombe Wanderers two years ago and has also played for Barnet, Stevenage, Gillingham and Dagenham.

Maidstone meanwhile have allowed Callum Driver to join Hemel Hempstead Town on a three-month loan.

The 24-year-old missed four months of this season due to a foot injury in the game against Aldershot Town in early August. He returned to the squad in December, featuring in two league and two FA Trophy matches.

Driver will link up with Ben Greenhalgh who joined the Vanarama National League South League side on loan last week.
