Maidstone United in FA Cup spotlight with Stevenage clash part of the BBC's new interactive Final Score

Maidstone United will cash in on their FA Cup first round match at League 2 side Stevenage.

Stones will get a £12,500 television fee after the tie was moved to Sunday, November 9 (2pm) as part of the BBC's new interactive Final Score.

The clash is one of eight matches moved to a new Sunday slot at 2pm with goals and key moments from all the games shown to the BBC 1 audience as they happen.

In a first for FA Cup coverage, the BBC are giving extra prominence to the early rounds of the competition, placing lower league and non-league clubs in the spotlight.

Fans will be able to enjoy every twist and turn: if there’s a goal in any of the eight games, Final Score will show it; if there’s a penalty, the programme will go live to see it being taken; and if a match is reaching an exciting conclusion, the audience will be able to witness all the drama.
