Maidstone turn their attention to the FA Trophy on Saturday.

They host AFC Sudbury from Ryman League Division 1 North in a second qualifying round tie at the Gallagher Stadium.

The FA Cup is dominating everyone’s thoughts but United know the FA Trophy is an important competition.

Alex Flisher and James Rogers serve one-game suspensions, so boss Jay Saunders will have to make changes. Defender Phil Starkey and Alex Akrofi are cup-tied in the FA Cup but available in the Trophy.

Saunders said: “It’s tough when you’re in every competition but we want a good run."

The winners of tomorrow’s tie receive £3,250.

Striker Jack Harris, meanwhile, is set to stay at Ryman League Division 1 South leaders Faversham for the rest of the season.

United were looking to loan out defender Richard Davies but are now likely to hold on to him.
