Pegasus gymnast Courtney Tulloch has the chance to cap his World Championship debut with an individual medal.

Tulloch, 19, competes in the men’s rings final in Nanning, China, on Friday.

On Tuesday he helped Great Britain to fourth in the team event by top-scoring for his country on rings.

It was Britain’s best-ever performance in the World Championships.

The Maidstone teenager tweeted: “Today has been an amazing experience. Something I will never forget. It’s been an honour to be in a team with these guys.”

Britain were second at the halfway stage of the team final.
