England World Cup winner Will Greenwood was a guest coach at Aylesford Bulls Rugby Club on Monday night.

Greenwood visited the Jack Williams Ground to work with Aylesford Ladies. Bulls won his services in a charity auction and Greenwood, a star of England’s 2003 World Cup triumph, proved a big hit.

Ladies’ manager Angela Smith said: “Will worked on attack and defence, chatted to the girls as a big group and did separate sessions with the under-15s, under-18s and seniors.

“He spread his time well and gave the girls lots of handy tips to take into matches.

“Lots of people came down, players’ parents and families and some of the boys. There were lots of photos and autographs.

“We’re starting a new under-13s team which is important for the next generation.”

Aylesford are hoping Greenwood’s influence will help their Women’s Premiership campaign - Bulls are sixth ahead of a home game against Wasps on Sunday.
