Aylesford Primary School issues warning after a man exposes himself in Teapot Lane

A head teacher has warned parents to be on their guard after a man exposed himself near Aylesford Primary School.

In a letter to parents at the Valley Invicta Academies Trust school, Vanessa Homewood said she had met with police following a flashing incident in Teapot Lane on Monday and officers had passed her a description of the man involved.

He is described as white, in his 30s or 40s and wearing a grey top and black converse shoes.

Police were called to Teapot Lane, which is frequented by pupils of both the primary school and nearby Aylesford School - Sports College, at 11.10am.

It was alleged that the man had exposed himself before being challenged by a member of the public. He is then reported to have walked away in the direction of London Road.

Miss Homewood said: "If you see this man or anyone else behaving in a way that is offensive or inappropriate please contact the police.

“We take the matter of the safety of the pupils seriously and are working with the police regarding this incident.”
